Outtakes from Brisbane photos

It was all getting a bit too serious with the photos so we decided to have a bit of fun and do our version of the typical sports team photo where all the guys fold their arms in a poor attempt to make their biceps look bigger. Anyway, it involved Shaun standing on the hand rail and me setting the camera self timer and moving into position. As you can see from the photos below, it took a few takes and in the end was a pretty ordinary photo.

Went for a run last week along the Brisbane river and in addition to the usual stencil outlines of pedestrians and bikes, some-one had modified one to include skaters. And to the lycra-clad crowd that insisted on riding two abreast in groups of about ten and twice the speed of everyone else, get off the bike path and onto the road where the speeds don’t cause a problem to everyone else.

Spent last week up in Brisbane on a sales trip and also to compete in the RSABOUT Jurassic Classic on the weekend at the Ashmore BMX Club. This race meeting was combined with the 3rd Annual Vintage BMX Gathering. I was wandering around Surfers Paradise and they were starting to set up for the Indy car race this weekend. Well imagine my surprise when I was walking along the back straight and saw the sign on the pedestrian bridge. More photos and news to come once I’ve had a chance to catch up.
